1st full day home

Well, it hasn't been a hard day at all. I say that- I am still really slow getting around (just pretty sore still). Kallie sleeps all day- I forget how newborns are! I try to wake her up, but she's not really having it. Hopefully tonight will go ok. Last night, we were up quite a bit. She grunted a lot and had two bowel movements. It seemed like every time I fed her and put her back down, she would wake up again. I finally got my mom at 4am and had her take over so I could get a few hours of sleep. It was a long night, but I don't want to complain because Kallie only cried ONCE and that was when I was changing a poopy diaper.

Today has been beautiful! It's 65-68 outside and sunny. Me, Kensley & Nonnie (my mom) went outside and played while daddy worked at the table and Kallie slept in her bassinet. Kensley blew bubbles and went for her first ride on her bike. I found one for $10 at a consignment sale- she really liked it! (I only got a picture from my phone, so I can't post it on here) The rest of the afternoon, we were lazy (as lazy as you can be with an 18 month old running around). I told Kent that I swore Kensley just turned a new leaf within the past week or so! She is a HANDFUL! And she's teething (her entire hand has been in her mouth a LOT the past day or two) so that adds to the "handful" that she's been.

As far as her and Kallie- she is still doing great with her. She always asks where the baby is and tries to cover her up with blankets. She'll say "she's sleeping" when she comes up to me when I'm holding her. It's so sweet! I was nursing earlier and she was very intrigued. I explained to her that Kallie was eating. I pumped a little and my mom gave her a bottle- Kensley wanted to help out. So she took the bottle and touched Kallie's lips with it. She thought she was big stuff.

Here are a couple pictures to share....
