So I went back and dug around for Kensley's 10 month update.
Here it is. I'm glad I did this! I don't have friends to share all of Kallie's firsts and milestones with so I feel like I've slacked on some things with her.
Kallie weighs 22 lbs and I believe she has grown up over night! She has recently learned to point and grunt at what she wants! It's so funny. She usually says "nuh!" over and over. She adores her big sister; it's really sweet. Their recent thing to do is play in the pack-n-play together. Kensley climbs in a yells for Kallie to get in.
She loves her puffs & yogurt melts. If she sees them, she'll throw a fit for them! She has developed such a fun personality within the past week. She is so much fun! And to sit and watch her and Kensley play and laugh together--- it's one of the best things in life. I just love it. :)
Here she is clapping
~~~Fast forward a week. That's how long ago I wrote the above section.~~~
Kallie really enjoyed the snow!
Kallie is yelling "dat!" over and over and over and points to where she wants you to go. 9 times out of 10, she is wanting in the cabinet that has all the food in it.
I went back through old blogs of when Kensley was 10 months and realized I had already introduced some solid foods to her! (you're probably thinking, "duh! She's almost a year old!". Well, in my mind, she's still a baby. Time has just flown by. So now she has had turkey lunch meat (she loves it!) and mandarine oranges. Those both were big hits. I've also given her super diluted apple juice. She is drinking out of a sippy cup as well.
A day in the life of miss priss
8:00 wake up & nurse
9:00 breakfast
10-12 nurse/nap
12:30 lunch
1-3ish play
3-4 nurse/nap
6:00 dinner
8:00 nurse/bedtime
Breakfast- oatmeal mixed with formula
Snack- puffs/melts/oranges
Lunch- purees/lunch meat/fruit
Dinner- same as lunch
She's not really hot on purees right now. She just doesn't seem interested. I think she'd much rather have big people food :)
She LOVES her baths! She LOVES her sister. She LOVES her daddy. But she is a mommy's girl. All.the.way. That may change soon, but for now, she will cling to me like crazy. Tiring, yes. But I am trying to enjoy it. She is so much fun. I love her to death.
