Staying busy...or trying to

What can I say? This winter weather is not fun. AT ALL! We run around and play in the apartment everyday. Same thing. Over and over. We do manage to get out and go to the gym or run errands--- but all in all- I am ready for the spring!!!

Kallie's hair is a *lot* longer than Kensley's was when she was 10 months old. We were able to get her hair in a ponytail last night. Her first one!

And here is one from this morning at breakfast. She and Kensley like to play this game. Not sure what is so fun about it, but they both die laughing :)

Let it Snow, let it snow

Well, not that today was any different.... it snowed some.... there's about a foot on the ground. It's beautiful, but cold. We went out to the office and pulled the girls in the sled. Let me restate that, WE went out there but KENT did the pulling. It was 15 degrees and I did it one time with Kensley and my lungs just about froze from the inside out. It was ridiculous. The rest of the time I hung out in the garage and took pictures :)

Kensley had a blast! She kept saying "how 'bout more?", "go THAT way!" (away from the house), "I have fun!" She was too cute.

Kallie enjoyed it too! We had her bundled up tight. She couldn't really move. :)

See that grin?

Our two snow bunnies

McCoy LOVES it as well. He didn't miss a beat. He ran with Kent the entire time, plus some. Here he is in action.

And Kent, Kallie & I walked out to the lake. Let me say, it dropped about 20 degrees! It was INSANE! Kent didn't stay out there with Kallie, no worries :) I stayed out long enough to take a few pictures. The lake had frozen towards the shore.

I promise, Kent took her back RIGHT after I clicked this picture!

And when we got home, everyone was pooped. Especially Kensley.

Playing in the snow

We'd been here a couple days and Kensley kept wanting to play in the snow! So we went outside and attempted a snowman...... and this is what we got:

Come to find out- this is NOT the kind of snow you can make a big snowman with. It's about the consistency of powder, seriously. SOOOOO we just settled for a mound :)

She loved throwing it up in the air.

And Kallie also had potatoes for the first time. She wasn't a big fan!
