What a wonderful weekend!

Well, it has been a really good weekend. The sun has been out, which is great- we still haven't got out much though because it's a bit windy and still SUPER cold! But it's nice to at least see the sun shining. Since my last post, I have really started being positive about the tail end of the pregnancy. Although I can't wait to hold Kallie in my arms and feel the love for another beautiful daughter, I am enjoying my time with just Kensley. According to my March 23 EDD, I will be 37 weeks on Tuesday. Officially "full term". I feel like my body has been making some progress- I've had pains (almost the whole way home from dinner last night) and other things happening that make me think labor may come before induction. Either way, this beautiful angel will be in our arms in a couple weeks. I just can't imagine how much more love will be in our home! I absolutely LOVE watching Kent play with Kensley. Makes the world seem like a perfect place :) I can only imagine him with two little girls. They are so lucky to have him as a daddy. Anyways, I'll stop being so sappy- I go in for my weekly appointment on Tuesday. Please pray for some progress!

As far as Kensley goes- she is now 18 months!!! Where in the world has time gone? She is talking more.
  • She says "I want it" to just about every thing (especially food).
  • She likes to pretend to eat her play food- so today she was coming up to me and Kent asking "want a bite".
  • She loves to watch Elmo (Melmo), Mickey (she calls him "Hot dog"), Chuggington, Backyardigans, Handy Manny, Special Agent OSO and Nemo (on the DVD in the car).
  • She has 3 different Mickey Mouses now. She is in love with him!
  • She's also starting to call Goofy by his name (she says "Doofy").
  • She goes up and down the stairs by herself now.
  • She says "nasty" overtime I change her diaper and throw it away.
  • She chases McCoy around everywhere and doesn't like to let him get out of her sight.
  • The first thing she asks for in the morning when she wakes up is her "milk".
  • She loves playing chase with her Daddy.
  • She likes to give Eskimo kisses.... this week, at least :)
  • She gives the BEST hugs--but they are very few and far between! I usually only get them if I've left her somewhere for a while and she hasn't seen me.
I am so ready for the weather to warm up so we can go outside. I'm hoping to start coloring more with Kensley once Kallie arrives. It's so hard for me to get on the floor with her now and really be "on top of my game". Once Kallie gets here, I'll be able to move faster (to prevent ingesting TOO many crayons or markers or chalk) and be able to enjoy "play time" more. Until then, I'm going to TRY to not feel like too bad of a mother when I let her just play with her dolls and McCoy all day. :-)

Miss Kensley is getting so big! I love the nasty and yucky sayings, it always makes me giggle.
Baby Kallie is almost here, enjoy your perfect pregnancy belly while it lasts!

Wow, funny how Kensley only being 2 months older than Cori, says more words. Cori talks and I can usually understand what she says, but she is just now learning how to put two words together....like "bye bye dada", or "no momma" but she does say enough words to get her point accross! Cori was 16 months on Saturday!
