Thanksgiving Pie Social

Kensley's MDO program had a little "performance" this morning. It was too cute. My heart melted-- I can't believe Kensley is old enough to do this stuff! Seems like yesterday she was a little baby crawling around. Gah- she keeps me smiling every day. She did.... ok..... her teacher put paint on their faces (they were the indians) and she picked it the ENTIRE time she was up there. haha

She also wore her pink Turkey shirt- obviously- she was one of the FEW that didn't wear their Eagle shirt. Back story on that- we were late getting her shirt since we didn't move in until late- the smallest shirt they had left was a small. So it swallows her! She refuses to wear it :(  The turkey shirt was cute- but she hated it as well. It took some stern talking to and bribing for her to wear it the whole morning. Ugh. We had tons of compliments- and everyone knew I got the idea from Pinterest! haha Too funny.

Speaking of- check out my other blog. I've devoted it to all the things I've made that have been inspired by Pinterest. Which will be everything from here on out, I'm sure. :)

This picture melts my heart. She's praying. Hard. ;) This is what I live for.... moments like this. :)

Yeehaw!

Gah, it's been almost a MONTH since I've blogged! I am really slacking :/ It's been SO busy around here. Tons of sessions, sick girls, traveling. October was super busy for us. This weekend is the first in a while that we are just at home. It's nice. :) And I need to be in bed--- that way I can take advantage of the extra hour we're getting! (we put the girls early tonight----- probably a BAD idea in our case. But oh well)

So here's some pictures from our trick or treating night. The girls had a BLAST! Kensley finally really understood it. Kallie--- she picked up fast. She had as much fun (if not more) than the big kids! It was too cute to see her run up to the door with her hand reached out opening and closing really quick while she grunts at the lady at the door.

Kensley was suppose to be Strawberry Shortcake but changed her mind about a week and a half before Halloween. Luckily the girl who was suppose to make her costume hadn't made it yet- so I cancelled the order and tried to make one myself. I was super happy with how it came out. She was too cute! Kallie was suppose to be Tinkerbell but all of a sudden refused to even touch the Tinkerbell costume. So Halloween night I was ready to just put her in a Halloween tshirt and pants- but thought I would try this Ladybug outfit I got at a consignment sale for Kensley while we lived in VA-- she never wore it-- (see Holly? You aren't being cheap by putting Beckham in Maddox's old costumes!!) ;) Anyways, I was able to find a black shirt and knit pants (the flannel stuff that came with it would've been too hot) and put it out on her bed. She actually picked it up and brought it to me to put on her! So I just went with it- so, with no accessories, she was a cute little lady bug. :)

Pre- ToT. Kallie had a mini meltdown. She had no idea what fun she was about to embark on! ;)

ToT'ing with the neighbors

This one melts my heart. How sweet?!

Go get 'em Jesse! :)

She cracked me up. This is how she held this thing.....

Until the end of the night.....

Loving those pigtails!

Time to see what we got!

The bags of candy have since been picked apart and thrown away. The sweets were tempting me WAY too bad. :(

Let's Go Rangers!

What a great game last night!!! We had a blast and even got to visit with some old friends.

The Rangers are headed to the World Series for the 2nd year in a row! I hope they get a WIN this year!!! I am not really a fan of watching baseball on TV (or any sport of that matter) - I really wish we lived in the DFW area so we could go to more games. There's nothing better than sitting in a stadium with 50k+ fans cheering on a team that is loaded with talent!

This guy was hilarious. He held this sign up every time Cabrera was out on the field and then he'd hold it up when he was in the dugout.

Kensley's 3rd Birthday Party

What fun! It was super simple and I loved that. We mainly just had family there; Kensley doesn't really have any friends yet since we just moved in. We had a few friends come that made the day/weekend even more special. :) She had a blast and got a ton of great toys! This was the first year she really understood about toys and presents. She was in heaven!

Karissa's family came and stayed the weekend and she was nice enough to take pictures for me. THANK YOU KARISSA! It's so nice to not have to worry about taking them myself. :)

Here are a few from the day.

Party Favor table.... I forgot to give these out. HAHA Luckily we only had about 4 kids there! :)

One happy birthday girl

Kallie even got a gift to open!

Visit from Nonnie, Poppy & Ging

We love visits from family! My parents and grandmother came last weekend for my birthday :) I always enjoy my birthday love I get from them - they are always so good about making us feel special, no matter how old we are. I will admit though, the older I get, the less I really care it's my birthday- the more I care about just getting to see my mom/dad/ging/whoever. Anyways, my mom and I did some speed shopping- and by speed, I mean SPEED! We didn't have much time- but I was able to find some cute tops. We ate cake when we got home and then ended the evening at Rosa's. Yummy!
