So it's only 4 months late....
Kensley had a GREAT 4th birthday. She invited her friends from her MDO class- they hadn't seen eachother all summer so they all enjoyed it!
I was pleased with all the decorations and was just glad the kids all had fun!
I love how she got Ben and Kent to join in..... and Kyle loved the fact he was filming- so he didn't have to go play!
What fun! It was super simple and I loved that. We mainly just had family there; Kensley doesn't really have any friends yet since we just moved in. We had a few friends come that made the day/weekend even more special. :) She had a blast and got a ton of great toys! This was the first year she really understood about toys and presents. She was in heaven!
Karissa's family came and stayed the weekend and she was nice enough to take pictures for me. THANK YOU KARISSA! It's so nice to not have to worry about taking them myself. :)
Here are a few from the day.
Party Favor table.... I forgot to give these out. HAHA Luckily we only had about 4 kids there! :)
The ice cream sundae table
Yummy cupcakes & cake balls
Presents
One happy birthday girl
Kallie even got a gift to open!
Kallie was enjoying her ice cream with Grandmother
Kensley turned 3 a few days ago and I had the camera out throughout the day snapping pictures. She's such a cutie :) And getting so big!
Goodmorning birthday girl!
Megan came over and brought her little boy for pictures. You can see those on my photography blog.
Since I had everything set up, I threw the girls in their matching PJ's and took a few pictures of them. I have already posted them, but I'll post a couple one more time.
Later, once Kent got home from work, we told Kensley we could go to Build a Bear. She had asked the day before while we were at the mall. She saw all the teddy bears and wanted one. She had a blast!
Scoping out the bears. She was totally overwhelmed. However, she knew she wanted something PINK.
Miss Kallie pushing a bear she found in the store around. It kept her occupied :)
She's picked her bear. Now she gets to help stuff it!
Rubbing her head with the heart..I can't remember why though.
Rubbing it on her tummy so she'll never go hungry.
Giving it a kiss so she'll always be loved
Placing it in the bear.
Yay! She loves her new bear!
Now it's time to give the bear a bath. She enjoyed Daddy's help.
Time to get her dressed. Guess what she picked out for her to wear......
TINKERBELL!!!
And here's Kallie.... still pushing :)
Now they have to fill out the bear's birth certificate. When we asked Kensley what she wanted to name her bear, her response was "Tink". "Tinkerbell" was put on the certificate. So now she has her own Tinkerbell bear.
Little sister had to do what Daddy and Kensley were doing.
She's one happy birthday girl! Happy 3rd birthday Kensley. You are one amazing little girl. We love you more than anything!!
It was time to eat dinner after all that hard work. And Chick-fil-a was suggested by the birthday girl. (can you see who got to eat dinner on the table with her?) ;)
