Something you're afraid of:
Probably snakes..... those really freak me out!
And I'm afraid of the day that someone hurts my girls' feelings. I'm afraid for the one who hurts their feelings ;-)

Day 9
Day 9-A picture of your friends
Here are just a few that I can find :) We really don't have a ton of friends.... I mean, we have a lot, but not many that we really get to hang out with... since most of them are about a 22 hour drive away from us :(
Amanda & Kim with their girls.... this was at KK's 2nd birthday party
My bestie! Man I miss her :(
Karissa & me at Hayden's 2nd birthday
Ok.... I really need to come back and update this when I have a chance to look more. I really need to edit pictures! :)
Day 8
A place you've traveled to
I have tried to find some pictures of Kent & I in Utah, but had no luck. So here's one that I found. We went to Utah a couple years in a row to ski. It was BEAUTIFUL and probably the best skiing we've experienced.
Ha- this is super random. Just found this.... probably from 2005 or 06. At the Rangers game.
And I don't have time to look for more pictures.... so that's it! :)
Day 7
Favorite Movies
I'm not a huge movie-watcher, but there are a few that I like.
Date Night - haven't seen it? Go rent it! It's hilarious! I could watch it again; I NEVER watch movies twice :)
Wedding Crashers -I hated it the first time I saw it. But now I could watch it over and over.
Legally Blonde movies -Not sure why, but I enjoy watching these when they come on TV.
.... I can't think of anymore now. I'll update if I think of more.

Day 6
Picture of something that makes you happy
Oh boy- this makes me all warm and fuzzy inside :) Absolutley LOVE watching my girls wrestle with their daddy!

Day 5
Favorite Recipes
So Holly already posted the smothered pork that is FANTASTIC! So go to her blog to find that one ;)
I also just found a recipe for a crock pot roast. OH MY! It was GREAT! I made it for Thanksgiving... and yea... it was DELICIOUS!
4-5lb roast
1/2 cup water
1 ranch dressing mix (dry)
1 italian dressing mix (dry)
1 brown gravy mix (dry)
Put roast and water into crock pot.
Mix the powders together and sprinkle over the roast.
Let sit on Low for 7-9 hours.
YUMMO!

Day 4
My Parents
Meet my dad
Meet my dad
Someone who I know loves me unconditionally and would do ANYTHING for me (or his family). Kensley has always loved her Poppy and I LOVE watching them interact- just chill :) While we were visiting this summer, there were many afternoons spent doing this...... eating popsicles.
Meet my mom
She's my bestie :) She would also do ANYTHING for me.... and not expect anything in return. She's just amazing. Period. AND- my oldest daughter worships the ground Nonnie walks on. It is so funny! They're best buds too.
I wouldn't be where I am today with out my parents. They were so supportive when I was in school (and now, of course!)- made it to EVERY one of my ball games- and I can tell you the exact volleyball game (only ONE) that they didn't come to. I was so upset they didn't come. :( They made a big impact on me and I pray that I can make that kind of impact on my girls as well.
I LOVE YOU MOM & DAD! :)

Day 3
Your first love.
Believe it or not, I am married to him! We met in jr. high and started "going out". Growing up in the same school for my whole life, there were a couple boys that I had as boyfriends off and on. Yes, I was young. No, it wasn't love! haha but anyways, I remember thinking "he is the first boy that actually doesn't get on my nerves!" It was crazy. We ended up dating my freshman & sophomore year in high school. He graduated and went to college and we tried to make it work the first part of my junior year. We ended up breaking up- I thought it wasn't working out. I ended up spending the rest of my high school days trying to figure out my life! Making memories and learning from my mistakes. Anyways, I graduated high school and went to.... just wait.... the same college he (Kent) was going to! We never really talked- we saw each other occasionally. I went to college and lived my life as a freshman the first semester. Gaining weight--but meeting lots of great friends while doing it! :) haha I dated a guy that semester but ended it after Christmas. Kent & I kept running into each other at parties- it's such a small world- we hung out with the same set of friends. Then one day we just started talking again..... and to make a longer story short, the rest is history :-)
I love that man with all my heart and am SO THANKFUL for him and the family he has given me. God has truly blessed us!
Here are some funny pictures- I made a scrapbook for us when I was in high school (luckily I married him- if I hadn't, I'm sure it would have been a little odd having an entire album devoted to another man!haha)

This is when we first started "dating". Not sure he even had his license!
HAHA- I am laughing looking at these. Here we are at prom. :) Check out that stlyin' dress!
Here we are at the Sadie Hawkins dance.
This was in 2004. (yes, this was proof I gained quite a bit of weight!!)
This was in 2004, I believe. I was playing volleyball at Temple College.
This was New Years.... 2005, maybe?
This was in February 2005- Kent had just proposed

Day 2
I'm going to get this done... because I would forget....
Meaning behind my blog. Hmmm..... not really a catchy name; it speaks for itself. I like to share our "adventures" ;)

Day 1
Introduction to Me!
So I was having fun with taking pictures.... this one is totally making fun of the youth now days. Here is my picture in the mirror throwing my peace sign up and puckering up... did I cover all the right things in this one picture?! (I even did an artsy edit to it!)
And here is my "mom at the end of the day-- worn out" picture! (and a fun edit)- with a nice shadow behind my head- Sorry photographer friends! haha OH- and my plexi line :)
Well, this is me. 5 years married with 2 AMAZING/BEAUTIFUL girls.
I was born and raised in a small town and attended K-12 in the same school district. The older I get, the more I realize how lucky I was. I had the same group of close-knit friends for 13 years. Wow. Amazing.
In school, I loved all sports and was considered an athlete. I LOVED volleyball. LOVED it. And still do- but haven't played it in.... probably 4-5 years. Ouch. That one hurts to think about. I am so excited about going to my 10 year reunion; ready to see what everyone has been up to-- and I'm just ready to hang out with my buddies.... hopefully we can all have fun like we use to! (well, not really, but you know what I mean....) Anyways, I'm rambling now. So I'm married to my high school sweetheart- my first love. We have moved clear across the US- away from our ENTIRE family. While it's been hard, I love it. I love having just each other to hang out with on the weekends.
15 Random Facts
1. I LOVE S'mores Pop Tarts
2. I have LITTLE control over my love over sweets. And I hate it. Thank GOD I am not a smoker... I'm afraid I would have a hard time stopping.
3. I would do anything. ANYTHING. for my girls.
4. I hate shopping for clothes. However, I have a new love for Nordstroms. It's the first place I have ever been to and tried on more than 5 different things and left without a headache.
5. Photography is an obsession of mine. In fact, Kent told me he was going to give me some money and for two days straight, my mind raced 90 to nothing on what lens I was going to get and possibly a new camera body. He quickly bursted that bubble when he would only give it to me in two "installments".... just so I wouldn't spend it on photography stuff. Now that it's all said and done, I am so thankful! I really NEEDED to go shopping.... (Thank you Kent!)
6. I love my skinny jeans. Yes. I said it. It took me forever to try them on- now I love them!
7. I am starting to appreciate this new "style" of clothing. I like the baggy look- especially since I have been slacking on working out :)
8. I have a love/hate relationship with working out. While I LOVE to do it, I just can't get myself up in the mornings right now. And that's my only chance.
9. I wish I had enough money to put Kensley in a MDO that was half day a couple days a week... and then have a sitter come watch Kallie while I work out/run and run errands.
10. I think I am ADD. I always have 10 projects going on at once.... and have a hard time completely finishing everything.
11. I hate socks. I hate wearing them. I hate walking around the house with them on. I HATE HATE HATE when people rub their feet on the floor with their socks on. It's like nails on a chalk board! (and I cringe as I type it)
12. Spelling errors GET ON MY NERVES. I've always said I should be an English teacher. With that said- I know I am not perfect and have spelling errors every now & then. But when people continuously misspell, it's annoying. Especially on FB status updates... or text messages.... And with that said- I understand the occasional spell check that the iphones do. They correct with the craziest words!
13. I hate talking on the phone. I only like to talk to my mom and husband. And occasionally another family member. I would much rather text. I am so busy throughout the day, it's hard for me to sit and talk on the phone. Texting is SO much more easier
14. I don't like checking voicemail. I usually let them sit in my inbox for a few days.
15. I am in a mom's group and I LOVE it. It is set up FANTASTIC. The next move we make, I hope I can find one similar. If not, I am very tempted to start one up. It's THAT great. :)
Whew! That was tough!
