Ear Infections

Well, ear infections have invaded our house. Kallie had one last week and was put on medicine. Kensley woke up Monday night around midnight and cried for an hour. I thought it was night terrors at first but then she finally said "my ear hurts!". So off to the dr. we went on Tuesday morning. Sure enough, a bad ear infection in her right ear. Then this past weekend I kept having some pain around my ear- my first thought was "ear infection"- but I've never had one of these as an adult! It was pretty painful, to say the least! The pain stopped so I stopped thinking about it. Well, last night at my girls night out- my ear started hurting again. Ugh. I am almost 100% sure it's an ear infection..... so I'll be going to the dr today to get some medicine. Fun, fun! So can I say that in the past week (or a little more than a week), I've spent $150 on copays and then another $45 on medicine. Seriously?! Our copays are $30.... that's pretty steep! But yes, the well being of my children trump the cost-- but still.... it just irks me. Everything has gone up. The amount that gets taken out of Kent's check, copays, medicine....

I haven't got my camera out lately- other than a couple shoots. So I'll post those on my blog soon. A couple moms contacted me for pictures for Father's Day. Fun! I'm trying to think of something to do for Kent- I've got some ideas in my head. I need to take the girls out while Lindsey is here so I'll have an extra set of hands :)

Last night we (Lindsey & I) headed out for dinner and a movie. We had some yummy mexican food and sat around and laughed with a few other ladies. Our conversations at the dinner table were quite hilarious- the stories were too funny.... think c-sections, surgeries, plastic surgeries.... gross, but funny.

This was the only picture I got of the night.

After dinner, we went to watch Bridesmaid. Oh my goodness, it was HILARIOUS! We laughed the entire time. It was a bit raunchy, but funny. We had a blast. I can't tell you the last movie I saw at the theatre.... it's been forever!

Also, before we went to eat, we stopped by the mall. I grabbed a couple dresses at Old Navy for the girls for the 4th of July. A friend is going to take our family pictures there. Then we stopped in Bath & Body Works. I bought Country Chic & Carried Away. Go smell these! AHHH! I LOVE them :)

Sounds fun! I don't remember the last time you posted something where yo ventured off on your own without your girls! I bet that was a much needed break! I hope you had a margarita at least!

Country Chick is my new FAVORITE scent that bath and body works has! I just got some last weekend!! When will you be in Houston again? My dad has been wanting to get a family picture of us all (6 adults, 2 kids {after Levi is born} and 6 dogs....) Maybe we can set this up for later in the year (or at least after July?)
