Visit from Lilly

Well, it's Thursday - this week has gone by fast. Lindsey came up to visit- she got here Monday afternoon. We didn't do much on Tuesday and Wednesday we went into D.C. We ended up having the girls because Kensley threw up early Wednesday morning (around 3am) and then again around 7am. She was able to keep down some liquid and a banana so we thought we would make the trip into D.C. (BAD IDEA) We didn't get there until after 1. Lindsey had never been to DC. We hit the Washington Monument, WW2 Memorial, Lincoln Monument and the White House. We didn't leave until 5 and had to sit through HORRIBLE traffic. And Kallie was screaming like crazy.... just NOT a good day. We finally got home only to find that Kensley was running 100.4 temp. AHH! (I knew we shouldn't have went) So I gave her some Motrin (which I now know is recalled!) and put her to bed. She woke up this morning with 100.8 temp. I am going to leave and pick up some medicine once Lindsey wakes up. Kallie has been fussy as well- I think she has the same bug Kensley has. So it's been pretty rough. I hate they're both sick, especially since Lindsey is here. I was hoping to be able to get out each day to do something. Obviously we won't be able to do anything today. We've got to get this fever down! We're wanting to ride the ferry on Saturday.... so I hope everyone is better by then. Here are a few pictures from yesterday. The focus was horrible- I must have hit something before I gave Lindsey the camera...... bummer

This duck was sitting on the fountain- so lots of people were getting pictures... I thought it turned out pretty...when I get a chance, I'm going to edit it a bit

Here we are in front of the Washington Monument

I just realized while writing this, that you were up texting me at 3:00am!! It was only 1:00 here( which is late... but not 3:00 am late!!). I hope things are on the up and up again soon... but I bet her bug was a little suvenier from your visit to the museum!!
Just FYI, not all motrin was recalled... you can look up your lot number. But just go the generic route. No recall and 1/2 the price for the same active ingredients!

YES! We were texting late, huh?! haha We are only an hour ahead of you guys so maybe it was more around 2 that she threw up.... I checked the lot number on all 4 bottles of Tylenol and Motrin and they were all recalled.... I've bought some Walgreen brand and we're good to go now! kensley's fever was 100.8 this morning and it's down to 99 now. Hopefully it won't go back up!
