We have been deprived of Cavenders while we lived up north. Not anymore though! We've already hit up the store and Kent bought me a pair of boots. Yipppeeee!
These red boots were mine when I was little! Kensley put them on and wanted to model them with me.
Here's another ariel view of mine ;)
Me & Kensley striking a pose. (props to Ging for taking the picture for me. She handled the big camera well!)
And Kallie really wanted to wear my boots.
And this was after modeling our footwear & swimming. They were pooped ;)
I have been out of the blogging world for almost a month now! Woah! We have been super busy. We found out we would be moving and we had a 3000 sq ft house packed up in about 4 days. Crazy. I was so tired. From flying back and forth and then going up and down so many flights of stairs- I was pretty sore! We'll be in our house soon enough. I am SO excited to be closer to family. We have missed being away. My mom is now just a phone call away! Yea! And the most important thing of all in all of this- Kent will be able to be home with us. Woot!
That's about all I have for now updating on our living situation. Here's a picture because I know everything is better with pictures! ;)
Kensley was in her uncle's wedding a few weekends ago. Her 1st wedding to be in! :) She did great! We were a little nervous after rehearsal thinking she may run down the aisle but she was perfect for the wedding.
Up until the day of the wedding, I didn't really know how I was going to do her hair. She wouldn't wear it in a pony tail- she rarely keeps a pony tail up these days. My plan was just to leave her hair straight and put a headband in it. Well, the morning of the wedding, we went and got pedicures and when we got back home she wanted to watch a TV show on my computer. While she sat there, I thought I would try to curl her hair. My mom had an ancient tiny curling iron that we found before we left for the weekend so I was able to use that. Oh my goodness. Adorable!!!! Look at her hair! It's so fine, I was skeptical of how it would curl and how long it would stay. Well, it stayed like this ALL evening!
Here are some pictures from the rehearsal and the hotel. I really wish I would have taken my good camera out more but oh well. I was able to enjoy the day more without lugging it around :)
*These are the only ones from my big camera and I didn't edit them any... so the ones in the church have an awful color cast. But I still love them!
This was at the rehearsal. Keith & Kristyn.
Keith tried his hardest to get a picture with her!
I really wish we could have done family pictures after we took my friend's last night! I think theirs turned out so good- such a beautiful family! (I'll blog them when I'm done) Here's one I had Chris snap of us. We obviously weren't dressed for pictures..... and Kent still had his sunglasses on. He was having such a fun time. :rolls eyes:
At least there's a couple little girls that love the sand:)
Then there's one that just doesn't like it. She said she didn't like the beach and she wanted to go home. She's asked to go to Nonnie & Poppy's once so far. haha Maybe she'll come around :)
until then, we'll have a towel, or something, for her to sit on and watch.
We are on a golf course. We have the perfect covered back patio. And the girls can run around and play if there's no golfers out.
We ate at the Back Porch last night. Yummy! The girls were all great.
Afterwards we got ice cream. Mmmmm.... it was good!
Here's a video of the effect of the ice cream ;)
We are currently fighting a fever. Kensley ran a low grade one yesterday- but woke up this morning with almost 102. No other symptoms. Hopefully it's a virus that will run its course. Quick.
And for the heck of it--- a few pictures from our plane ride. The girls were great!
