Hello 2013!!

Oh my- WHERE did 2012 go?! I have so much to do that I don't feel like I have time to reflect on 2012. I will do that soon, though- and blog it. Hopefully. One of my resolutions is to blog better this year- 2012 was a bad year for me- I'm not sure why? But I am determined to do my Project 365 this year!!

I have some sessions to finish up so this is going to be short--- but it's day 1 of my Project 365.

We didn't leave my parents' house until later this afternoon so we were able to see my niece a little bit before we left! My brother recently had a little girl. So precious- seriously. Such a pretty baby. And she's perfect.

Wild flowers & ducks

Last night, I loaded up the girls and met a friend and her girls at Chick Fil A for a late dinner. After we ate, we let the girls play a bit and then headed to a local park that has some awesome wild flowers. I got a dress for Kensley a couple weeks ago and have been wanting to get some pictures of her in it. Hopefully I'll blow one of these up to a canvas. I love them so much. I wish I could've got some of Kallie- but she wasn't really into it. Figures. ;) Here's a collage I made of Kensley.

Father's Day weekend is almost here

And we have nothing for daddy. Well, he actually just got a boat- so he won't be getting anything else. Just a card ;) But I had to do these pictures tonight because I've done them the past 3 years. They had their bath, washed/dried hair (which- oh my- I just love their blonde hair! haha) And then they put on their new PJ's (which were 70% off at Carter's!!! WHOOP! <---they're having a big sale right now. They also stocked up on quite a few new dresses. oops.) Anyways, I dug up our old DAD pictures. swoon.

What a pretty weekend! I had a great Saturday- started out with a senior session. I was a little nervous for whatever reason. I had a good talk with God and everything was good. I was so happy with the session and can't wait to get through all the TONS of pictures we took. The rest of the day was spent with the girls.... Kent was at a safety training all day long- the girls were working my nerves, unfortunately. I don't know where my patience went yesterday but it was NO WHERE around. I finally took them to the park and then we ate at Chick Fil A and played in the play area.





This morning I woke up to a text that was cancelling my shoot for this morning. It was a product shoot- I spent quite a bit last night revising all my pricing info and printing it out for everyone that came to the house. I didn't get to use it- but it's good I've got it done. So we didn't have anything to do and kent was helping our friends move.... so we visited a church! We had a good time- we came home and had lunch- Kallie had her nap- and then we played this afternoon. Once Kent got home, we headed out to Academy to look around and got a few things-



...then headed to Petsmart to look for Nemo. They didn't have a Nemo, but the girls had a blast looking at all the animals. Dinner at Rosa's and now we are sitting in the bed playing and reading books. A great weekend has come to a close :) I've got to get caught up on my Bible study once the girls go to sleep. I missed on Friday because Kallie woke up at 6:30 that morning! I've been getting up at 6 to help Kent get off to work and then do my study. So I'm praying for a little later wake up in the morning!! ;)

And here is a little video clip of Kallie. I've been wanting to get her on camera "talking". I've worried countless amount of hours that she can't hear or something- she's not really talking yet! She has made huge improvement the past couple weeks- so here we are now. 22 months old.

Kallie is our iPad addict.... Kensley was catching fairies (or princesses....) *Oh, and that's an old maternity shirt that she is wearing. That chick has style!


I have a bag of clothes outside that have been sitting there for at least 2 months. Just waiting on me to drop them off at Goodwill (which I've been to about 3 times... just keep forgetting to grab that bag) Kensley snatched this dress to add to her dress up clothes wardrobe.


I'm working on my high school t-shirt quilt. yes, it's a little old now- VINTAGE! ;) I can't wait to get it done. It's amazing how many memories coming flooding back when I get these shirts out. And it's crazy to look at what a different person I am now vs almost 10 years ago. *I can't believe I'm even old enough to say that* LOL
