Weather delays

Well, the weather has delayed us in getting home. So while I am here and have a moment, here are some random pictures of the girls :)






This is our neighbor's kitten- she came to play with us while we were in the back yard. Kensley loved her!


What a face! And yes, these are two different pj sets. We were limited because I had already started packing :) So I just threw whatever I could find on her. And she stayed in pj's that whole day.

Well, I'm sure you can tell that I am trying to play catch up in the blog world. WHEW! I am way behind :/ I really need to go to bed because my mom and I are getting up to go shopping tomorrow...but I'm almost finished....

Kent got me the 7D for Christmas, so I've been playing around with it--- it's AMAZING! The capability I have to take pictures in low light is... well.... CrAzY! Although the pictures get really grainy the higher I go, it's so nice to have the option if I ever need it..... here are some random pictures...


No kidding.... it was in the 80's one day.... and we wore our summer gear and ate popsicles outside...

The very next day we had to put one our jackets.... it was pretty cool outside...

The girls are WORN OUT! Kensley had so much fun but was REALLY overwhelmed with all the toys. Both girls made out really well! I don't think we'll have to buy gifts for them for a LONG time. It was a lot of fun, but I am POOPED!

My poor mom has been sick ALL WEEK. She ran a fever for 4-5 days straight. It knocked her down, completely. She was in bed all day, every day. Kensley would sneak back there to tell her "hi" and see if she was feeling better. haha She missed out on Christmas at Grandmother & Grandadddys and Ging's but she got to come to the living room when we did Christmas at her house. I have missed her like crazy! She feels better tonight... no fever for almost 2 days now... so she is laying with Kensley in bed. :) I've missed her help with the girls! I always look forward to that when we get to Mexia.
