What a fun weekend at grandparents'! We enjoyed the weekend with egg hunts, church & good food!
Kent got in a golf round with my brother on friday and then saturday he went with a big group of guys all day. That group would have included my cousin Lance. Still hard to believe he's gone. :(
Sunday we went to church- the girls got to go early with Nonnie & Poppy and go to Sunday school! Grandma is the teacher for the 5's class :) Then, at "big church" we had Khloe dedicated! Each time we dedicate a baby to God, it is almost overwhelming to stand up there and see the entire congregation stand and agree to pray for our precious daughter. I can't wait to find a church home. Can't wait to get the girls involved and get MYSELF involved!
Our plans after church were a good ham lunch with family followed by an egg hunt and then load up and head home! We need to buy a lawn mower like crazy---- BUT Kallie had other plans. She started running a fever and then THREW UP everywhere! All over my mom's BRAND NEW couch! :/ We laughed b/c while we felt horrible for Kallie, we also were sick to our stomachs b/c of her furniture! It had been 15 years since they had new furniture- so it was much needed. But man! Way to break it in so soon Kallie! ;) It all washed off so we're good. We finally decided to just get on the road (with trashbags in tow)- she threw up a few times but not much came out b/c she had an empty stomach at this point. Poor thing. We rode it out all day Monday. Kent ended up catching the stomach bug and stayed home all day, too. Monday night she went to bed and had 102.8 fever. I knew something wasn't right. She woke up Tuesday morning and it was 99.8 but she said he throat hurt really bad. We got into the dr........ Strep. Boo. So she's been on antibiotic for a couple days now and is feeling better. No fever but just still a little weak- I'm sure it's from not being able to eat much the past few days! But she's on the mend now, thankfully. Khloe is sounding snotty today- I hope it's nothing big. Kent went to the ENT today and they scheduled his deviated septum surgery. Hopefully that man can get better soon. We keep praying!
